Already operating the Oberoi Zahra river cruiser, the company has acquired the newly named Oberoi Philae, which will sail on four and six-night itineraries between the Egyptian cities of Aswan and Luxor. Stops along the way include Komombo, Edfu, Esna and Quina. The vessel caters to 44 people per sailing across 22 cabins and suites, each featuring picture windows.
Public facilities on the ships include a restaurant serving Western, Asian and Middle Eastern cuisine. On the upper deck, a temperature controlled swimming pool and poolside restaurant is open alongside a bar and cigar lounge. Guests can also enjoy a movie theatre, 24-hour gym, spa treatment facility and onboard wi-fi. English-speaking Egyptologists feature on every voyage, conducting informative knowledge of the region and the country’s history.
