At a mammoth 106 nights in length, Princess Cruises will soon release its most extended world cruise for sale to set sail from Australia, with the extraordinary voyage also marking the 10th anniversary of the line’s first global circumnavigation from local shores.

Scheduled to depart on 05 June 2018, the three-and-a-half-month odyssey on Sea Princess will tie up at 40 ports in 27 countries worldwide. The ship will visit several of these for the first time, including ports in Greenland and Newfoundland (Eastern Canada). At the same time, several overnight stays will also be on the bill, including extended time for guests to enjoy cities such as New York City, Barcelona, and Venice.

Guests opting for the entire world voyage can join the ship in Sydney, Brisbane, or Auckland, with fares for the whole world sailing priced from AUD$21,999 per person twin share. The cruise will operate entirely with the AUD as its onboard currency, meaning no additional tipping will be necessary outside of average gratuities unless guests opt to do so.

Princess Cruises said in the ten years it had been running world cruises from Australia; it had seen a high rate of repeat passengers. Over half of the 3,000 passengers traveling on the 2016 world cruise were on board for the entire lap, with a quarter of these having enjoyed a similar voyage with the company before. More than two-thirds of those booked on the 2017 journey had also sailed on a world cruise with Princess in the past.

More milestones will also be realized throughout Sea Princess‘ 2018 journey, including the line welcoming its 30,000th world cruise passenger from Australia and clocking up its 1,500th day spent at sea on 75 days or longer voyages.
