Acclaimed Australian stageshow Burn The Floor, which wows audiences on three Norwegian Cruise Line ships in Europe and the USA, will be expanded onto luxury sister cruise line Regent Seven Seas Cruises.

The fiery and evocative cavalcade of ballroom dance routines imagined by Australian theatre producer Harley Medcalf will debut from the launch of Seven Seas Explorer, the line’s newest ship launching in July and dubbed “the most luxurious ship ever built”.

Seven Seas Explorer will set sail on its maiden voyage between Monte Carlo and Venice on 20 July 2016, with 750 guests confirmed to join the ship and to be served by 542 crew. Each stateroom on the ship boasts at least one balcony while the top-of-the-line Regent Suite will feature two bedrooms, golden chandelier, Steinway piano and private spa complete with sauna, steam room, multi-jet shower and unlimited spa treatments.

Burn The Floor keeps audiences on the edge of their seats with jaw-dropping choreography, high-energy dance routines and engaging music, even without a progressing storyline. Many well-known songs from artists such as Robbie Williams and Carlos Santana star which can even have viewers singing along or grooving in their seats.

Norwegian Cruise Line is heavily investing in new entertainment, much of which features Australian entertainers. In addition to Burn The Floor, Norwegian Cruise Line’s entertainment line-up also includes legendary Aussie story Priscilla Queen of the Desert which plays complete with a full-size bus on Norwegian Epic, based in Barcelona.
