Repositioning voyages often yield all sorts of benefits for travellers as they can often be the most difficult for a cruise line to fill, as they will require a one-way flight in order to complete the itinerary.

Ahead of the second Australian season for one of the largest Royal Caribbean ships ever to sail in local waters, the brand is offering guests the opportunity to fly from either Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane to Seattle – where the ship will depart for the journey to Australia. Airfares from the three east-coast Australian cities are available for $499 per person through bookings of a major 24-night relocation cruise from the US city back to Sydney.

In addition to the discounted airfare, cabins on the sailing are priced from $1,799 per person twin share for an inside cabin, inclusive of an existing 30% discount already on offer from Royal Caribbean. This works out to around $75 per person per day for a voyage which includes accommodation, many meals and entertainment onboard the ship.

Along the way, the recently renovated ship will feature stops in the Hawaii ports of Honolulu and Lahaina, Suva, Fiji; Port Vila and Mystery Island in Vanuatu and Noumea, New Caledonia.

To take advantage of the offer, bookings must be made and deposited with Royal Caribbean by 11 September, with the voyage departing Seattle on 08 October and visiting many of the most idyllic ports in the Pacific Ocean prior to its arrival in Sydney.
