Every family has at least one member difficult to buy for at Christmas time, right?
A gift with a difference could be perfect for them in the form of a cruise with over 20 of Australia’s greatest music acts from the 1970’s, 80’s and 90’s ranging from John Paul Young & the Allstar Band through to Pseudo Echo and also including the iconic John Farnham. After the sellout success of Cruise & Groove last year, the music-themed voyage returns by popular demand, this time with ‘Farnsy’ included on the line-up.
The sailing is scheduled to depart Sydney on 09 October 2016, sailing onboard Royal Caribbean’s Radiance of the Seas for eight nights to New Caledonia and visiting Noumea, Lifou and Mare, backed by a nearly non-stop lineup of music acts in the ship’s main theatre.
Also scheduled to perform during the cruise are legendary Aussie acts including Jon English, Best of the Bee Gees show and a host of contemporary Australian musical talent.
Cabins on the cruise are disappearing quickly, and solo travellers who don’t mind sharing a stateroom with up to three others (of the same gender) can save up to $4,500 per person through Companion Cruising, an online cruise retailer specialising in saving travellers the burden of paying a solo supplement by matching up travellers to pay a twin-share price. Solo travellers can pay up to double the cost of a twin fare.
Interior cabins on the ship are now sold out, with Oceanview staterooms and above priced through Companion Cruising from $2,278 per person for the eight-night voyage. Included in the fare is accommodation onboard, all meals in the main dining room, entertainment and gratuities. Performing artists will also periodically host meet & greet sessions where guests can have photos taken and have select merchandise autographed.
Radiance of the Seas caters to 2,143 passengers, with public facilities including popular Royal Caribbean staple restaurants Chops Grille Steakhouse, Izumi Japanese, Giovanni’s Table as well as Schooner Bar, Viking Crown Lounge and the Adventure Ocean Kids Club.
